DNV Certified Hose Handling Cranes

Multi Discharge arm is designed and manufactured to assist filling up mudskip tanks, to cutting bins or slurry units, with constantly pumped cutting from shakers, released from drilling well. With MDA, continuously pumped mud will be diverted into mudskips with manipulated healing and knuckle booms within approximately 230° rotating capability.

Working environment of the arm is in an explosive / hazardous area as per 2014/34/EC ATEX Directive Zone 1: An area in which an explosive gas atmosphere is likely to occur in normal operation. Temperature classification of MDA is T6, which maximum surface temperature is less than 85°C.

Hydraulic oil pressure is maximum 100 bars.

The equipment is structurally designed according to DNV-ST-0378 “Offshore and platform lifting appliances” Ed. July 2019, amended October 2021 and DNV-RP-0232 “Pipeline and cable laying equipment”, Ed. September 2018, amended October 2021.

MDA has been load-tested in accordance with the requirements on Table 14-2 of DNV-ST-0378. Load test is in line with ILO C152. Coating of the units in the pictures has been as per NORSOK M-501, System 1.
