DNV Certified Pressure Vessels

Design verification and product certification by Det Norske Veritas. Design has been carried out in accordance with the requirements of PED 2014/68/EU and also CE Marked.

All design, drawings and stress calculations have been done by Akel. Frame of the unit has been in accordance with DNV 2.7-1 requirements and made of high stress steel working in cold temperatures. Tank part is made of AISI 316 L stainless steel.

Prototype and production tests have been completed in Akel Workshop.

All units have been tested to 11,25 bar pressure. Akel’s scope includes detailed design, fabrication and outfitting and testing of the complete container.

All fittings and accessories are manufactured by Akel.

Coating of the units has been as per NORSOK M-501, System 1.
